Abstract

Proverbs and wise sayings are one of the richest genres of Uzbek folklore, and are considered the most reliable source of information on the customs, traditions, lifestyle and mentality of the Uzbek people. This article examines the issues of researching folklore by our young researchers in the current period, which requires them to conduct sufficient research and study about their history.
