The study highlights how reviving and promoting the craftmanship of traditional musical instruments can create job opportunities, stimulate local economies and preserve cultural heritage. By integrating modern business practices with traditional skills, artisans can access broader markets, both locally and internationally. Furthermore, this approach encourages sustainable practices using locally sourced materials thereby reducing environmental impact. The study also discusses the potential of educational initiatives and community engagement to empower artisans, ensuring the transmission of skills to future generations. The study found out that harnessing traditional musical instrument craftsmanship not only preserves Nigeria’s rich cultural legacy but also serves as a catalyst for economic resilience and sustainability.
