Abstract

The present paper aims to identify cases of the application of algebra in managerial decisions with special consideration to the fact that it has recently become a significant factor in business. Algebra is an essential and vital course in math that provides practical skills and solutions for problem resolution; it helps managers more effectively manage their businesses by combining strategy, planning, and efficient operations with massive quantitative data.

The most critical areas where algebra is used are scheduling and resource planning, where linear programming is used, and financial planning, which is used in budgeting and forecasting. For instance, algebraic models for identifying cash forecasts, calculating breakeven, and critically assessing investment plans provide a manager with sound financial decisions.

Algebra is explicitly used to manage supply chains, logistics, and inventory systems to reduce costs and increase organizational reliability. Another approach to manipulation is mixed-integer programming and linear equations, which turn hopeless complexes into approaches to logistics. Likewise, algebra helps plan and control resources to help managers develop suitable production or service delivery schedules, reduce working time, and improve efficiency in the manufacturing and services industries.Algebra is also used in business, specifically in marketing, to understand consumer behaviour or stock demand and forecasting, decisions about including and pricing products, forecasting trends, and more. The deployment of these applications assists managers in better decision-making, Revenue focus, business planning, and scenario building to manage risk and the future.

This work extends previous works by linking theoretical mathematical theories with actual management practice. It shows how algebraic concepts enable better decision-making, spur innovation, and increase organizational efficiency. Emphasizing the importance of managers’ mathematical literacy, the paper shows how algebra turns concepts into practical problem-solving tools for efficient strategic development in today’s business organizations.
