Abstract

In this article, results of observation of heat pumps which use geothermal energy as a source of energy are shown. Energy consumption patterns of Uzbekistan represent that buildings are the greatest energy consumer, consuming 42% of energy. Buildings account for the biggest and most cost-effective potential for energy savings. At present, heat use is responsible for almost 80% of the energy demand in houses for space heating and hot-water generation. Efficiency of using a geothermal heat pump in building sector is shown.
