Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in smart buildings represents a significant advancement in building management and urban development. In this paper we explored the transformative impact of these technologies on the built environment, examining their benefits and challenges. By leveraging real-time data collection, advanced analytics, and automated control systems, AI and IoT enable unprecedented levels of energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational optimization in buildings. The study discusses key applications such as energy management, predictive maintenance, and personalized environmental control, highlighting their potential to reduce energy consumption and enhance user experience.
